Head of Core Marketing

Job Description

• Develop strategies for sales & prescription growth of assigned products & communicate with field force on regular basis to achieve that growth.
• Identify market needs & launch new products to meet those needs.
• Prepare sales & promotional budget for assigned products & follow it up for time to time.
• Give training to the field forces regarding the strategies & scientific information of APL products.
• Analyze performance of APL products as well as competitor brands.
• Keep expense record and analysis of budget vs expense regularly.
• Let the field force know the objectives and promotional strategies for the forthcoming month/quarter.
• Motivate the field force to achieve the company objectives.
• Ensure that the field force possess the required skill and knowledge on products, those would be promoted during the forthcoming    months.
• Visit doctors and pharmacies on need to sense the real pulse of the market and set strategies accordingly.
• Arrange and conduct Scientific Symposium/RTD/Society Related Program/CME according to set plan.
• Coordinate to prepare presentation slides requested by doctors through field forces, if needed.
• Answer to doctor’s queries regarding assigned products.
• Help in the recruitment and training procedures of new Medical Information Officers, if required.
• Any other job if required.

 

Job Requirements

• M.B.B.S
• Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in leading product marketing, team management, and strategic planning in a pharma setting.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills.
