Vitamin B-Complex / with C

Indications

Chronic pains like sciatica, lumbago, trigeminal neuralgia, facial paralysis, optic neuritis as well as neuropathy & cardiac complications. Besides these, deficiency exists of relevant vitamins.

Chemical Composition

Thiamine Nitrate BP 100 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride BP 200 mg, Cyanocobalamin BP 200 mcg

Dosage & Administration

Neobion Tablet: 1-2 tablets three times daily. Neobion Injection: In severe cases, 1 ampoule daily until the acute symptoms subsides. For milder cases & follow up therapy 2 or 3 should be injected weekly

Contraindications

It should not be used in patients on levodopa therapy.

Side Effects

Very rarely hypersensitive reaction and sensitivity disturbance may occur.

Drug Interaction

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) reduces therapeutic effect of levodopa but it does not occur if a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor is also given. Neomycin, chloramphenicol, aminosalisylic acid & histamine H2 receptor may reduce Vitamin B12 absorption.
