Indications

Indicated in conditions where supplementation with the B - complex vitamins required prophylactically and therapeutically. Vitamin deficiencies may be associated with restricted diets, improper food intake, decreased absorption and prolonged stress, infections or chronic fevers, following burns and trauma. Vitamin supplements may be necessary for those on unusual diets, on reducing diets with drastically reduced food selection and also for those with inadequate diets, (eg.) alcoholics, diabetics, those recovering from surgery and in convalescence.

Chemical Composition

Each hard gelatin capsule contains:
Vitamin B1 U.S.P. 10mg
Vitamin B2 U.S.P. 10 mg
Vitamin B6 U.S.P. 3mg
Vitamin B12: US.P. 15 ug
Niacinamide U.S.P. 50 mg
Vitamin C .B.P. 150 mg
Folic Acid B.P. 1mg
Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate B.P. 55 mg

Packaging

Blister packs of 10 x 10's.

Dosage & Administration

Adult: One capsule daily just after meal orally or as directed by the physician.

Contraindications

Patients who are hypersensitive to any of the constituents of Becoplus capsules.

Warning & Precautions

Ascorbic acid should be given in caution to patients with hyperoxaluria.

Drug Interaction

Pyridoxine reduces the effects of levodopa, but this does not occur if a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor is also given. Metabolism and bioavailability of pyridoxine may be altered by isoniazid, penicillamine and oral contraceptives.
