Antihistamine

Novomin has anti-emetic properties and is used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting, such as in travel or motion sickness.

Each tablet contains Dimenhydrinate 50mg.

To be administered orally. Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician. For prevention of travel sickness, the first dose should be taken 30 minutes before the journey. Dosage can be repeated every 8 hours if necessary. Adult: 1 to 2 tablets Children over 12 years: 1 tablet Children 7 to 12 years: ½ to 1 tablet Children 2 to 6 years: Recommended for Novomin Syrup

It should not be used in persons with known allergy to this drug.

This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive motor vehicles or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drinks.

Drowsiness may be experienced by some patients, especially on higher dosage
