Simecol is used in the treatment of Flatulence , Abdominal distention, fullness, Gas and Windy Colic.

Each ml contains Simethicone USP 67 mg

Simecol is usually taken after meals and at bedtime. Shake the bottle well before each use. Children less than 2 years of age: 20 mg (0.3ml Simecol drops) 4 times daily, upto 240mg (3.6 ml Simecol drops)/day. Children (2-12 years of age) : 40mg (0.6ml-1.2ml Simecol drops) 4 times daily, upto 500 mg (7.5ml Simecol drops)/day. Adult : 40-80mg 4 times daily, upto 500 mg (7.5ml Simecol drops)/day.

Precaution: Do not exceed 12 doses per day except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

Simecol is physiologically inert and no adverse effect has been noted after oral ingestion.

There are no known drug interactions with simethicone.
